Amazon EC2 provides core computing services to configure Virtual Machines with the use of custom or pre-configured AMIs.

Azure also provides a Virtual Hard Disk, which is similar to Amazonโ€™s AMI to configure Virtual Machine. The Virtual Hard Disk can be predefined by Microsoft or any third party or be user-defined.

Further, Google introduced the Google Compute engine that lets the users launch VMs into regions and availability groups and introduce cloud computing services.

AWS provides a temporary storage that is assigned once an instance starts and is destroyed as it terminates.

Moreover, it provides temporary storage and Page Blobs for Virtual machine-based volumes and Files and Block Blobs serve for any Object storage. Furthermore, Azure also supports both relational databases & Big Data & also NoSQL.

Hence, it provides both temporary storage & persistent disks. As a result, technologies that are developed by Google like Big Query, Big Table, and Hadoop are supported naturally.

AWS charges their customers by rounding up per hour. Models are on-demand, reserved and spot.

Moreover, Azure charge their customers by rounding up per minute and offers short-term commitments (pre-paid or monthly) with discounts.

Also, the Google cloud platform charges their customers by rounding up per minute (minimum of 10 minutes). Therefore it is on-demand and on sustained use.
