With AI being in a state of high buzz, Google’s “AI Mode” became the new spotlight, announced recently at Google I/O 2025. To inform more users about this AI search feature and stay ahead of the AI players such as ChatGPT, Perplexity AI and more, Google is promoting AI Mode with an animated Google Doodle on its main homepage.

Talking about Google Chrome, The Chrome New Tab page now displays a gradient “G” logo across iOS, Android, and desktop, while a Google-colored gradient appears at the top of the search results bar, reinforcing the AI Mode experience.
Users can also access AI Mode directly by clicking on an animated image featured on the Chrome browser and Google’s landing page.

Users can ask questions in text, audio, or images. As mentioned in a blog post by Google, “You can ask anything on your mind and get an AI-powered response.

Another point is that on the home page, you can see a tagline below the search bar, “Try AI Mode and search like never before!” Clicking on this will redirect the users.
According to 9to5Google, AI Mode is fully available to users in the US, while India is the first country where it is undergoing testing.
